What is Permanent Makeup? The process of Permanent Cosmetics has been in existence for 4,000 years!  It refers to the permanent application of pigment to the skin in the following areas:

How does Permanent Makeup work? This process is manually administered using 7 single probes or clusters of probes that are dipped into a permanent pigment mixture that is then applied to the designated area that has been designed according to the wishes of the client and the skill of the technician.
What is the SofTap Method? The word SofTap™ is a registered trademark.   The techinique is an innovative approach to achieving a natural makeup look.   It is very controlled, gentle, and safe, making it the preferred method of achieving permanent makeup for many individuals.
Is this procedure painful? Using the SofTap™ method, it is possible to have this proedure without topical anethetic.  However, to completely alleviate any fear you may have about discomfort, we recommend application of an anesthetic cream prior to the treatment.
Is Permanent Makeup safe? Yes!  Fresh pigments are used with each procedure.  These ingredients are inorganic.  The SofTap™ colors do not contain FD&C or D&C dyes.  Only disposable probes, brushes and spatulas are used.  All non-disposable equipment in sterilized per OSHA sterilization methods.   The fresh pigment is deposited by needles that softly tap and lift the skin whereas traditional methods of tattooing use a needle, which pushes color into the skin.

Is Permanent Makeup really permanent? Micropigmentation methods are considered permanent because pigment is placed under the skin.  However, there will be fading of color over the years, which will require touchups or reapplication.
